How we handle your information

Short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Last updated: November 2026. This notice is a working draft and is being reviewed by our solicitor before the trial opens.

Who we are

Hueman Brands Ltd, trading as bubble by hueman, of 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, is the data controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. For anything in this notice, write to hello@getbubble.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

WhatWhyLawful basis
Trial application: first name, email, country, household size, whether children are at home and their age bands, your answers about phone interruption and what interests youTo select suitable households for the V0 trial and contact you about itConsent, which you give by submitting the form
Journal subscription: email addressTo send you the fortnightly bubble journalConsent, given separately
Anonymous site analytics: pages viewed, approximate region, how you arrivedTo understand which pages help people find usConsent, which you give through the banner and can withdraw

Children’s information

Applications are made by an adult on behalf of a household. We ask only whether children are present and their approximate age band. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, children’s names, dates of birth, photographs or contact details. We design this service with the Information Commissioner’s Age Appropriate Design Code in mind and complete a data protection impact assessment before the trial begins.

Who else sees it

  • Vercel hosts this website and handles the forms you submit on it.
  • Supabase stores trial applications and journal subscriptions, on servers in London.
  • Resend sends the emails about your application.
  • Google Analytics receives anonymous usage data, and only if you allow it.

Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Applications from households we do not select: deleted within six months of the trial closing.
  • Applications from households we do select: kept for the length of the trial and two years afterwards, so we can make sense of the research.
  • Journal subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, plus a record that you did.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, including leaving the trial, and that does not affect anything done before. Email hello@getbubble.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies unless you allow analytics. We store your choice in your own browser so we do not have to ask again. If you decline, no analytics scripts load at all.
